Today we're launching AgreementGen, an AI-powered agreement assistant that transforms static documents into engines of business growth—turning handshakes into partnerships, ideas into contracts, and opportunities into closed deals faster than ever before.

AgreementGen represents a fundamental shift in how agreements are created and managed. We're not building another word processor or PDF editor – we're completely reimagining how modern businesses handle important documents. It moves beyond traditional document tools by intelligently automating the entire agreement lifecycle, freeing you from the constraints of conventional document formatting and manual workflows

This launch marks a pivotal evolution in Lumin's journey. We envision a future where businesses are no longer constrained by rigid document formats or fragmented workflows. AgreementGen is our first step toward making this vision reality – empowering businesses to break free from inefficient, expensive, and error-prone document processes that were designed for the paper era, not today's digital-first world.

We built AgreementGen as a core function within our unified document ecosystem, moving beyond simple PDF editing to create a comprehensive agreement solution. The system combines our expertise in document management with advanced AI capabilities, allowing it to understand document structure, automate repetitive tasks, and provide intelligent assistance while maintaining the professional standards businesses require. This approach means you can generate and customize agreements in minutes rather than hours, while keeping full control over the process and final output.

How it works

AgreementGen operates on a secure, compliance-focused architecture built to handle sensitive business documents with precision and care. At its core, the system is powered by Google's Gemini language model, which processes and generates agreement content. Unlike some AI systems, AgreementGen doesn't continuously learn from user interactions - this design choice ensures your business data remains private and separate from the AI's knowledge base.

When you upload a document, AgreementGen stores it securely in MongoDB with enterprise-grade security protocols. The system only shares the necessary document content with Gemini to generate responses or assist with your queries, maintaining a strict boundary between document storage and AI processing. All customer data resides in Lumin's MongoDB database, protected by SHA-256 encryption to ensure your sensitive business information remains secure.

The platform adheres to SOC 2 compliance standards, implementing comprehensive controls for security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy. This means every aspect of document handling - from initial upload to final storage - follows rigorous security protocols designed specifically for sensitive business information.


Beta limitations

As with any early AI technology, AgreementGen's AI capabilities are still evolving. The system may occasionally generate incorrect suggestions or make unexpected inferences when assisting with agreement creation and editing. Users might encounter minor formatting inconsistencies during document conversion or generation, and some AI-assisted tasks may take longer to process than expected. While these limitations exist at launch, we're actively monitoring performance and expect significant improvements as the system matures through regular updates and increased usage.

In this beta release, AgreementGen focuses on core functionality while we continue to expand its capabilities. The system currently handles straightforward PDF documents and basic agreements, though complex elements like tables, images, and custom formatting aren't yet supported. The platform operates as a desktop-first experience with English-language optimization - while you can interact with the AI in your preferred language, the interface and document features are currently English-only. CRM integration for auto-populating agreements with business data, mobile responsiveness, and multilingual support are key features planned for future releases. We're committed to expanding these capabilities based on user feedback during the beta period.
